Deena Pursooramen et Lyndsay Ann Rivière exposent du 10 au 23 mars à la Galerie Allied Motors de 9hrs à 18hrs.
Inspirée par l'histoire de l'île, Deena a créé 24 mosaïques pour rendre hommage aux nombreux travailleurs de différentes origines qui sont venus à Maurice.
Quant à Lyndsay Ann Rivière, elle présente une serie de paysages modernes et des portraits peints au couteau.
Deena Pursooramen
Deena Studied Fine Arts in South Africa and has specialised in Mosaic since her return to Mauritius in 2005.
Some of her recent experience as an artist :
Deena has had works commissioned by some prestigious hotels in Mauritius
• She designed Mosaic works for Naïade Resorts and V.K Design
• She renovated 30 tables for Abalone Restaurant and 40 for La Bastide Restaurant in Legends Hotel
• She completed a mural at the entrance of La Bastide restaurant
• 120 tables were commissioned by Beau Rivage Hotel, for all its Junior Suites
• 40 tables were ordered by the Mediterranean Restaurant at Beau Rivage Hotel
• She provided the Grand Mauritius Hotel with a large mural for its inauguration
Deena is a talented, creative and most professional artist in her approach. She is one of the leading Mosaic artists in Mauritius with an international reputation. She displayed her work at a recent exhibition at Allied Motors at the end of 2009.
Lyndsay Ann Rivière
Lyndsay studied drawing and painting in Limercik, Ireland where she was awarded a Distinction in 2007. She studied under a number of recognised artists in Ireland and Mauritius and has worked as an artist and sold paintings in her anative Australia (to 1996) and Mauritius (2003-2005)

In Limercik, Ireland (1996-2008)
• Six solo exhibitions in Limerick, Neenagh and County Limerick
• Two exhibitions with two other women artists between 2005 and 2008: ‘
• Several multi-artist exhibitions in Ireland
• Lyndsay has sold many works at a number of large exhibitions organised by the Limerick
• Lyndsay paintings were exhibited and sold in several recognized galleries in Limerick and in countries around as in Arkangel and the Landinch Kenny’s Gallery (2005-present)
• Her paintings continue to be exhibited in galleries in Ireland
Lyndsay Ann Rivière was a member of Organising Committee of the Limerick Art Society (2007-2008) and continues to be a member of this most prestigious Art Society of Limerick and its surrounding region. (2005-to present)
A well establishe artist, with an international reputation, Lydsay Ann has a wide experience with mixed media, acrylic and oil. Her works display a great awareness of the warm colours of the tropics, as well as the sedate light of Ireland, Sahe constantly experiments with subjects and media to arrive at an innovative approach. Her exhibitions provide a rich aesthetic experience for all.
